Legal services
After receiving my LL.M from the Goethe University Frankfurt in 1997, I began my career as a lawyer with the largest German law firm of the time, which in 2000 merged with international law firm Clifford Chance, where I worked for 10 years in total. Working first in Frankfurt, and then in Moscow, I represented major international investors and large Russian corporations.
I have worked on projects with talented lawyers from many countries, acquiring substantial experience leading working groups in legal reviews, structuring M&A transactions, and creating international holding structures.
I had the pleasure of working on the establishment of the subsidiary banks of the first four foreign banks in Russia. I advised foreign companies pioneering foreign investment in Russia on corporate law, real estate and raising financing from international financial institutes for Russian projects. A number of clients have remained with me to this day.
For the last nine years, I have been head of a Russian law firm specializing in tax, corporate and antimonopoly law, real estate and litigation. Over that time, I succeeded in winning recognition for that firm from international ratings Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, as well as implementing international standard business processes enabling the firm to join an international auditing and consulting network.
I also have experience in general management of a client company - the Russian subsidiary of CHG-MERIDIAN, an international financial corporation working in information technology.
Developing a legal practice in Russia under a strong brand like Baker Tilly is a new and inspirational challenge in my career and I am grateful to my partners for their trust in me.
I enjoy playing the piano, drawing, and research into human longevity. I have brown belt in judo.
